Therapeutic Support Section

In-House Psychotherapy & Therapeutic Support

At Bright Life, we recognise that emotional wellbeing is at the heart of positive outcomes for young people. We are proud to offer access to an experienced in-house Psychotherapist who works closely with both young people and staff to create a truly therapeutic environment.
Our Psychotherapist provides direct therapeutic support to young people, helping them explore their experiences, develop coping strategies, build resilience, and work towards positive emotional and psychological wellbeing. Sessions are tailored to the individual needs of each young person, ensuring they feel safe, heard, and supported. The Psychotherapist also contributes to team meetings, provides reflective practice sessions, and supports staff in developing a deeper understanding of the needs and behaviours of the young people in our care. This collaborative approach ensures that every aspect of support is informed by trauma-aware and therapeutic principles. To further strengthen our therapeutic culture, our Psychotherapist delivers specialist training and ongoing professional development opportunities for staff. This enables our team to continually enhance their knowledge, skills, and understanding, ensuring the highest standard of care and support for every young person.
